Due to the nature of the Promotion, it is not possible for packs to be evenly distributed amongst Participating Retailers. As such, there is the potential for Winning Packs to not appear in some retailers.

In the Republic of Ireland, a total of 12 Winning Packs will be fairly and randomly distributed amongst Promotional Packs in Participating Retailers, see clause 9.b. for further details, under the supervision of PromoVeritas, the independent promotional verification service. 16. Further Prize Details and Conditions:
17. 1. Winning Ticket, Online Instant Win and Wrap Up Draw Prizes:
       1. The winners will receive their cash prize via bank transfer.
       2. UK winners are required to have a valid UK bank account.
       3. Irish winners are required to have a valid Irish bank account.
       4. Winners are responsible for providing correct bank account details and the Promoter will not be liable for any Prize payments made into the wrong bank account.
    2. Winning Ticket Prizes worth £10,000 and £20,000:
       1. If the Promoter decides, the potential winners may be required to submit to a confidential background check, including on social media, or to provide suitable information to answer questions to confirm eligibility and help ensure that the use of any such person in advertising or publicity for the Promotion will not bring the Promoter into public disrepute, contempt, scandal or ridicule or reflect unfavourably on the promotion as determined by the Promoter in its sole discretion. Part of this process may also include questions during the claim process and a review of personal information sourced from data available in the public domain.
18. Winning Ticket Prize Claiming: If you find a ‘Winning Pack’, you will be required to follow the instructions on the winning ticket and call the phone number between 09:00 to 17:00 to find out how to claim your Prize. Any claims received that do not meet these requirements or are received after 23:59 BST on 1 September 2025, will be void and invalid. Any calls to the claim line made after 17:00 BST and before 23:59 BST on 1 September 2025 will be returned the next working day. Then follow the instructions given to provide your full details as well as a picture of the Cadbury Crossed Finger biscuit and your winning ticket plus the date of your purchase and the store in which you purchased your Winning Pack within 14 days from phoning the claim line. For the avoidance of doubt, Winning Packs constitute the combination of both a Cadbury Crossed Finger biscuit and a winning ticket. Any Cadbury Crossed Finger biscuits unaccompanied by a winning ticket will not suffice for a Prize. If a Winning Pack is not claimed in line with these Terms and Conditions, or if the winner fails to provide full and eligible verification information, then the winner will be disqualified, and the Prize will be forfeited.
19. Winner Selection:
    1. Online Instant Win: During the Promotion Period, 2,001 “winning moments” (days, hours, minutes, seconds) between the hours of 7am and 10pm each day, have been randomly selected by an independent verification service. The first valid entry on or after that winning moment will be awarded the Prize. If no entry is received between one winning moment to the next, the Prize from that winning moment will be rolled over, creating an additional winning moment. All 2,001 Prizes are available to be won.
    2. Wrap Up Draw: 1 provisional Wrap Up Draw winner will be randomly selected from all valid entries received during the Wrap Up Draw Period. For your total confidence, the Wrap Up Prize Draw will be conducted by PromoVeritas, the independent promotional verification service, within 5 working days of the end of the Wrap Up Draw Period.
20. Winner Notification:
    1. Online Instant Win: The provisional winning entrants will be instantly notified on screen alongside receiving a confirmation email to their email address provided upon entry, confirming their Prize and will be required to follow the instructions within 14 days of initial contact. If a provisional winner does not follow the instructions either on screen or in the confirmation email within 14 days of initial contact, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify that provisional winner and return the Prize to the Promotion Prize pool which may be won by another entrant during the Online Instant Win Period. Any claims received that don’t meet these requirements or are received after the Claim Period, will be void and invalid and we reserve the right to return the Prize to the Promotion Prize pool which may be won by someone else during the Online Instant Win Period.
    2. Wrap Up Draw: The provisional Wrap Up Draw winner will be contacted via the email address provided upon entry within 5 working days of Wrap Up Draw Winner Selection and will be asked to provide evidence of identity and eligibility. Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the provisional winner. Once eligibility has been confirmed, the provisional winner will be confirmed as a winner. If the provisional winner does not respond to the initial contact within 14 days, we reserve the right to disqualify that entrant and award the Prize to a reserve selected in the same manner. Reserve winners may have less time to respond.
21. Prize Acceptance: Once eligibility of a Prize is confirmed and the Prize is accepted, fulfilment of a Prize will take place by PromoVeritas within 28 days of acceptance of the Prize. In the unlikely event that a Prize does not arrive within 28 days, the Winner must inform the Promoter by emailing crossedfingers25@promowinners.com within a further 28 days. If a winner does not do so, the Promoter reserves the right to not reissue the Prize or limit its value at its sole discretion. 22. Provided no objection is received, the surname and county of the winners of Prizes valued at £2500 or above for the UK and all winners from the Republic of Ireland will be made available to anyone who requests them by writing to JS15026 Cadbury Crossed Finger biscuit 2025, PO Box 704, Pinner, HA5 9PF, within 3 months of the closing date. Winners may request their surname and county are not published or request for the amount of information being published to be reduced during Winner Notification process. Without prejudice, the Promoter will provide this information to the Advertising Standards Authority on reasonable request.
23. The Promoter may request that the winners participate in publicity arising from the Promotion. Participation is at the winner’s discretion and is not a condition of Prize Acceptance.
24. The Promoter seeks to run a fair and secure promotion and prevent abuse and cheating. If you enter in a way that is not consistent with these Terms & Conditions, your entry/ies (and any of your associated aliases) will be disqualified. Any Prize awarded may be void and recoverable, and the Promoter reserves the right to bar you from entering future promotions for a period of at least six months. For this reason, the Promoter reserves the right at any point to:
    1. Verify the eligibility of entrants and/or provisional winners through multiple means by requesting such information it consider reasonably necessary for this purpose. Entry or a Prize may be withheld until verification is completed.
    2. Disqualify entries that are not made directly by the individual entering the Promotion.
    3. Disqualify entries made using anonymous email services such as, but not limited to, GuerillaMail, Dispostable or Mailinator.
    4. Disqualify entries beyond the maximum allowed, or those using techniques such as ‘script’, ‘brute force’, multiple SIM cards for text entries, masking identity by manipulating IP addresses, using aliases or identities other than their own or any other means.
    5. Disqualify entrants who tamper with the entry process.
    6. Disqualify entries which, in some other way, do not meet the requirements of these Terms & Conditions.
    7. Cancel, modify or suspend the Promotion should it not be capable of running as planned for reasons including but not limited to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, dishonesty, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion.
25. The Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable. In the event for any reason Prize winner does not claim or accept their Prize within the relevant time frames stipulated by the Promoter, then that Prize will be forfeited by the winner and neither cash nor any other form of compensation will be supplied in lieu of that element of the Prize.
26. Transferability of winning ticket: Winning Packs or tickets must not be sold for commercial gain in any way, including on online auction sites. If the Promoter becomes aware that a winning voucher has been made available for sale, bought or sold, the Promoter reserves the right to refuse to redeem the winning ticket without payment of compensation to the entrant who submits the relevant winning ticket for verification as a valid win.
27. No responsibility can be taken for entries which are lost, delayed, corrupted, damaged, misdirected or incomplete or which cannot be delivered for any technical, delivery or other reason. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt.
28. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies are not liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this Promotion (JS15026) or accepting or using the/a Prize(s), except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. Nothing will exclude the Promotor’s liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence.
29. The Promoter will not be liable for any delay or failure to comply with its obligations for reasons beyond its reasonable control arising from but not limited to Acts of God, global or regional epidemic or pandemic, adverse weather conditions, fire, industrial dispute, war, terrorist activity, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, plague or other natural calamities, or any other circumstances.
30. The Promoter shall comply with all applicable requirements of the Data Protection Act 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation 2016 and any successor legislation or other applicable law. The personal information entrants provide will be used by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting this promotion and in accordance with the Promoters’ Data Privacy Notice which can be found at https://eu.mondelezinternational.com/privacy-notice. The Promoter may disclose entrants’ personal information to its contractors and agents to assist in conducting this Promotion (including any relevant promotional activity) or communicating with entrants.
31. If any part/s of these Terms & Conditions are legally ruled to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the remainder will not be affected and will continue in full force and effect.
32. By entering, you will be deemed to have agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
33. If there is a discrepancy between these Terms & Conditions and those in any promotional material, these Terms & Conditions will prevail.
34. These Terms & Conditions are governed by English and Irish law and their interpretation and application will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England, Wales and the Republic of Ireland. Residents of Scotland and Northern Ireland may bring proceedings in their own jurisdiction.
