Following the on-pack promotion during the promotional period, shoppers will be taken to the Strings & Things website, https://stringsandthings.com/; the homepage is focused on the partnership promotion and uses a button to direct the user to stringsandthings.com/garfield. The promotion begins with weekly draws for digital cinema tickets and finishes with a grand prize including Sony Bluetooth headphones, and 1 family movie-themed holiday to California.
In support of the on-pack promotion, there was also a video ad produced along with various posts on social media channels through organic posts and paid influencer ads; as well as having the on-pack promotion featured on various preview images on retailer’s grocery product listings.
Strings & Things hasn’t stopped at bolstering digital support but also made a conscious effort to support the promotion with various other channels, including in-store, on the radio and via banner ads to maximise their visibility and engagement. Strings & Things also plans to take this activation and partnership to Germany and France, making concerted efforts to make a global outreach.

1. Eligibility: This promotion is open to residents of the UK (England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland) and ROI aged 21 years or over at the date of entry.
2. This promotion excludes employees of the Promoter and their immediate families, their affiliated companies, associated agents or anyone professionally connected to the (prize draw) promotion.

4. Entry Instructions
a. Purchase a promotional pack of Strings & Things (including Original 4 pack 80g, Original 8 pack 160g, Twisted 4 pack 80g, Twisted 8 pack 160g and Pizza 4 Pack 80g) from participating stores (whilst stocks last).
b. Visit www.stringsandthings.com/garfield and complete the online entry registration form by entering your full name, a genuine email address and contact telephone number.
c. All entrants must answer a skill based question before being eligible to enter.
5. Entry is via the internet only for entrants.
6. A maximum of one entry per person per day per qualifying purchase will be accepted. Till receipt and promotional packaging confirming each purchase of a qualifying product should be retained. The Promoter reserves the right to require proof of purchase in order to validate an entry. Your entry will be invalidated if you are unable to provide proof of purchase for every entry if requested.

7.2(a) Winner Selection: winners for the weekly prize draws (for digital cinema tickets) will be picked at random from all valid entries received for the relevant week using a random computer program on the Monday following the end of each weekly draw except for draws in weeks 3 and 6 when the draw will take place on the Tuesday following the Bank Holiday.
7.2(b) Winner Notification: winners will be contacted via the email address used to enter the promotion within 1 week of each weekly draw taking place. Winners wil be taken to have been duly notified at the time the email is sent by or on behalf of the promotor. It is the entrants/participants responsiblity to ensure the email address they provide is correct and active and to monitor such email address to receive any contact or notification relating to the Promotion.
7.2(c) Prize Redemption: Winners of the digital cinema tickets will receive notification of their eligibility to claim their digital tickets, via an email sent to the email address provided upon entry. The prize winner will be required to redeem their prize in accordance with the cinema’s terms outlined below. On acting on that instructions in the notification and on clicking on ‘Redeem now’, the winner will be directed to the cinema providers website (Cineworld for GB or Omniplex for NI and ROI) to use their digital cinema code (an internet connection is required).

7.3 (a) Winner Selection: All valid entries received between 22/04/24 and 28/07/24 will be entered into the grand prize draw to be held on 09/08/24 for the chance to win a holiday to California or 1 of 10 Sony Bluetooth headphones. Winners of the grand prize draw will be notified by no later than 22/08/24.
7.3 (b) Winner Notification:
Family holiday to California- The winner will receive an email, and may also received further communication by phone call from the Prize Provider once the winner provides their contact phone number in response to the initial email.
Sony Headphones- Winners will be emailed and asked for their postal address, so their prize can be posted.
Dual winners – An valid entrant may win both one weekly prize of digital cinema tickets and one of the grand prizes (either the family holiday to California or one pair of Sony Headphones) but no entrant can win more than one prize in the Grand Prize draw and no more than two prizes in total.
8. No correspondence: Winner selection is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into, except with the prize winners.
9. Bulk entries, entrants using temporary or multiple email addresses or via agents, third parties, organised groups or those automatically generated by computer will not be accepted into the relevant draw. Any person persistently trying to circumvent the entry process will be disqualified immediately.
10. The Promoter does not accept any responsibility in the event a winner is not able to take their prize for whatever reason, including but not limited to, the event that a winner provides an incorrect postal address or due to postal delays or loss by the postal service.
11. If a notification email is not or cannot be delivered due to an entrant/participant/winner for whatever reason, including but not limited to, the winner providing an incorrect email address, or if their mailbox is full or a bounce back email is received, the Promoter reserves the right to forfeit the prize without further notification and the selected entrant will have no entitlement to claim the prize thereafter.
12. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter and its agents will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate entrants for any losses that may be incurred as a result of entering the Promotion and the Promoter does not accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of a winner’s acceptance of a prize except where such damage or loss is caused by the negligence of the Promoter or its agents. The winner’s statutory rights are not affected.
13. Use of Personal Data: Personal data provided will be used for the purposes of administering the promotion only. Please see Promotor’s Privacy Policy which is accessible at https://www.kerry.com/kerry-privacy-policy. The name and contact details will be retained for 6 months after the prize has been fulfilled to allow the Promoter to deal with any queries from the winner or as long as legally necessary. Details, such as the surname and/or county details may be retained and made available to members of the public. The winner can request for their personal data including phone number and address details to be deleted before the expiry of this period by emailing data.protection@kerry.com. However, where there is a legal basis to retain the data, Kerry Group (and its affiliates) will be obliged to follow the appropriate data privacy law. At the same time, where Kerry Group is legally obliged to delete the data at the request of the data subject, this may impact the beneficiary from availing the prize. Such as but not limited to, the Promoter cannot be held responsible if such request means that it is unable to complete delivery of the winner’s prize or assist them following deletion of their phone number.
The Promoter will either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award of the prizes took place and will publish or make available a winner’s surname to members of the public who request such details from 01.08.24 to 01.11.24 by sending a stamped addressed envelope to Lime Communications Ltd, Studio G2, Chester House, Kennington Park, 1-3 Brixton Road, London, SW9 6DE. Entrants can object to such disclosure, or request that disclosure be limited in scope by writing to Lime Communications Ltd, Studio G2, Chester House, Kennington Park, 1-3 Brixton Road, London, SW9 6DE. However, the Promoter may, notwithstanding any objection, disclose the information to the Advertising Standards Authority if required to do so.
14. General: The Promoter cannot be held responsible for the failure of any third party to fulfil its obligations in connection with this promotion, although the Promoter will endeavour to resolve or minimise the effect of such failure on the entrants.
15. The Promoter is not responsible for any entries which fail to be registered or are delayed for any technical or other reason whatsoever. The Promoter cannot be held responsible if the winner does not receive their prize for any reason, including but not limited to, as a result of having provided incomplete or inaccurate address details.
16. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the winning entries including asking for the winner’s identity, including proof of age, (which they must provide within 14 days but which will not be retained following verification by the Promoter and redemption of the prize) and to refuse to award the prize or withdraw the prize entitlement and/or refuse further participation in the promotion and disqualify the participant where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or any instructions forming part of the entry requirements or otherwise where a participant has gained unfair advantage in participating in the promotion or won or sought to win or enter using fraudulent means. The Promoter will be the final arbiter in any decisions, and these will be binding and no correspondence will be entered into in relation to this clause.
17. In the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Promoter, or otherwise where fraud, abuse, and/or an error (human or computer) affects or could affect the proper operation of this promotion or the awarding of the prize, the Promoter reserves the right to suspend the promotion, replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value, or amend these terms and conditions, at any stage, with no liability to any entrants or third parties, but will always endeavour to minimise the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment.
18. If any of these clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these Terms and Conditions and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.
19. This promotion and these terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of the participating country courts who shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any and all disputes arising out of, relating to or concerning the Terms and Conditions.
20. Entrants are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions by participating in this promotion.
