Café Drambuie is a experiential promotion for the whiskey liqueur brand, Drambuie, who've teamed up with Edinburgh Airport and Avolta to bring about Café Drambuie - a bar concept which serves Darmbuie's signature, Darmbuie Iced Experesso to bring flyers a whiskey twist to a relaxed café setting. With bespoke sampling at the bar, facilitated by Drambuie's brand ambassadors. The café is also decorated with highly branded point-of-sales (POS) material and takeaway cocktail cards.
Adult flyers can sample the Darmbuie Iced Expresso and can purchase a bottle of Drambuie - with this happening during the Christmas period and New Years, there was plenty of foot traffic, gaining a lot of prospective customers during this time with the Café Drambuie.
The campaign is supported by an OOH marketing campaign.
It’s a perfect lead-up to the festive season as the weather gets colder, appealing to both whisky fans and coffee lovers who are looking to try a new twist on our beloved classic liqueur. We activated this campaign in 2021 across two locations, London Heathrow and with Scandlines in the Nordics, both of which were received very well, and we hope to see similar results here in Edinburgh and Buenos Aires this time around.
